Congratulations! You just got a new job. Yay!! That's an exciting news we all love to hear, or maybe its a raise at work or perhaps, a promotion, yeah that's a great news worth celebrating. But wait- a- minute, a couple of weeks, months and years down the line, is the excitement still the same? Well not for everyone!
You must have gone through this tupsy turvy emotional curve in your career at some point , even Entrepreneurs have had their moment of adrenaline rush on a business decision that looked so good on paper but ended up being a fantastic money and time wasting journey, they should never have taken a risk on.
We all love to work in places where their vision aligns with ours, and unfortunately for a lot of job seekers or career people, what some of these companies project to the world is completely different from their internal structure that people rarely see from the outside.
Some very well known "great" brands, are only "great" in the eye of the customers and not the employee. These brands tend to serve their customers to the latter because they are of a particular mindset that the customers make the brand, without putting any effort in developing the career of employees who dedicate their time and knowledge in maintaining the standard and quality of the company/brand.
As a brand owner, have you ever thought about using your employee to your advantage. Instead of creating a hostile environment for your employees, you can actually make a good brand ambassador out of your employee. If you are committed to your employee, you will gain their loyalty and they will go any length to be the best PR your company has ever had.

- What is the structure in place where you work?
- Does your HR listen to the voice of the employee?
- When was the last time you got a pay rise?
- What is your salary structure like?
- Do you attend training, seminars or workshop courtesy your employer?
- Is promotion based on KPIs and Appraisals where you work?
- What are those things that bother you the most about the condition of service and the terms of engagement where you work?
