Mummies, get in here quickly!!!!

Please note that this is after I drove all the way from Lekki to the mainland in the hope of getting a cheaper deal o! You should have seen my excitement like the diaper was never going to finish. It just seemed so much easier to pay almost N5k than to bring out almost N15k at once!
To my greatest dismay, the diapers finished in no time even with all my diaper change restrictions! Anyway, off we go to the store for another round of purchase and now its 300 bucks more only after a few weeks! What!!!!!!! Now I'm soooo pissed off and complain about how this is just not right bla bla bla!
The shop attendant then says that thing we all hate to hear even though we know its the truth "its dollar nauw". I'm like yeah whatever the dollar rate is the perfect excuse for everything these days even daylight robbery!
As I looked round the store in frustration, I noticed a different brand of diapers called molfix. I enquired about it and the girl said it was good. Although I wasn't sold on the product it kinda ticked all the right boxes. Price was much cheaper, quantity was even more than my regular huggies and it was made in Germany so I thought how bad can it really be! Then to justify my cheapskate behaviour I started singing about how huggies is overrated sef bla bla bla.
I paid for the diaper with so much glee thinking I had got such a fantastic deal again and left the store.
Mistake of life!!!!!!!!
This diaper is definitely NOT huggies and not even half as good! It is so light which means you have more diaper changes than you do with huggies!
Long story short, I regret buying this product and I wish I stuck with my reliable huggies. Now I have to go back and buy the huggies I was running away from. Classic case of penny wise pound foolish!
Morale of my story is that in these difficult times we will be tempted to buy cheaper brands so we can save as much as we can but the reality is that we may end up spending more because we end up with a product which isn't as good as we thought.
In the end, if its not Panadol, its not the same thing as Panadol!!!!
Have a great weekend!
Dear writer, thanks for sending in your review. We appreciate this on thebrandroombyabi. My advice to you would be, considering the present economy, you might want to consider the Molfix Diaper again in the nearest future when you start potty training your baby.
That was the exact time I tried the Molfix Diaper for my baby and it was okay. Basically, because my baby was not totally dependent on doing number 1 or 2 in her diaper since she was getting rewarded for using a potty, meaning the diaper never gets full.
But I totally get you, the Molfix Brand is not the same with Huggies Brand. I have seen a couple of people complain about leakage from their Molfix diaper despite buying the right size and fit for their baby.
In conclusion, if you are that person that would not compromise on quality irrespective of the economy, do not bother trying the brand you don't know. Kindly stick to your preferred choice.
