Ali Baba comments on the recent misconception of the Amstel Malta Packaging.Says "The brand and consumer dynamics is a delicate issue".


For some days now,the news of a fake Amstel Malta has gone viral with people thinking the new Amstel  Can is a fake one,since there was no official rebranding announcement from Nigerian Breweries PLC,makers of Amstel Malta about the new can.

According to the picture on Alibaba's Instagram page,it I alleged that Nigeria Breweries has confirmed that it is indeed a rebranded Can of  Amstel Malta.
For a big brand like NBCPlc,how could they have thought that they can make changes without informing the consumers or how could they have thought this will go un-noticed?

I totally agree with Alibaba's comment on this one,In branding, communication is key,you shouldnt keep consumers in the dark on what you know will affect them.

If truly this is an admittance from NBPLc,then they need to roll out adverts on all media  platforms to inform and educate the consumers about the new change.
