GTB, FCMB, UBA and others Increases International spending limit on Debit Card

Nigerian Financial Institutions such as Guaranty trust Bank, United Bank for Africa and First City Monument Bank has announced an immediate upward review of the monthly international spend limit on its debit and prepaid Naira cards.

GTB in an email sent to all its customers revealed an upward spending limit from $100 to $1000 monthly spend on its Naira Master Card.
UBA announced an upward review on its debit and prepaid Naira card from $100 to $2,000 monthly.
While FCMB revealed an upward spending limit of $500 on its Visa Debit Card on a monthly basis.

This is great news for all Nigerians especially those involved in businesses that require foreign currencies. We are hoping that we can gradually return to unlimited spending limit as it was a few years ago.
