Brand Rules

No baby is born with Two Heads, they are simply called Conjoined Twins, Stop the Misinformation and Labelling.

I know this is totally unrelated to branding, but I just feel I need to lend my voice to help the families of these new born conjoined twins, that have been wrongly labeled as a baby with two heads by so many online and print media houses.

Can every one please take a minute to educate themselves about the reality called Conjoined Twins or some cases known as Siamese twins as the case may be.

Abigail and Brittany Hensel, are a typical example of a conjoined twin, that has ticked all the boxes every normal individual has achieved in terms of developmental growth, academics, and any other normal activities you can think of in this world.

It is very sad and unethical for doctors at the hospital where the Nigerian conjoined twins were delivered to have labeled them wrongly as baby with two heads. According to the Nations news, the Hospital Manager, Dr Dare Moses was quoted to have said " There is need to find out if they share major organs together. They may have to be flown abroad for separation if they have separate hearts and other vital organs. It is possible for them to survive".
I don't want to believe that we do not have medical facilities in Nigeria where scans and x-rays can be carried out to determine if they share organs or not. Aside that, it is very obviously that they are a conjoined twins, because they only have a pair of arms and legs, so how would they ever survive if separated?
In my opinion, they obviously need more professional medical attention which can only be sought abroad, because it is obvious that even our Gynecologist, obstetricians and Pediatricians don't research widely on abnormality during and after pregnancy. It is quite unfortunate that a scan couldn't pick up this defect.

I urge the parent of the babies not to loose hope, because, these babies although abnormal to the Nigerian and African society, are perfectly healthy and if given the opportunity to live, can thrive and be successful adults in future.
Take for instance, Abigail and Brittany are reality stars and have gone on to lead a normal life, simply because their parent and their medical team gave them the opportunity to live.
I am not saying it would be very easy for their parent in this society, but if they start with the right attitude, their children will definitely live a normal life.

Please I urge anyone and everyone close to this family, to give them all the support and love they need at this moment, and social media/print media should please and please stop making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Medical experts, please see thediagram of the Hensel twins internal organs, and maybe you could relate it to that of the Nigerian Conjoined Twins a little bit.
The Nigerian Conjoined Twins have a right to live. Spread the message.
